Let us try to help you out, by answering some of the most common questions we often get about our venue!
Is there an age limit to attend shows at the Fox?
All shows at the Fox Theatre are 18+ unless specified as "All Ages" on the Eventbrite ticket link and/or the Facebook Event. **Please note that for all ages shows, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
What time do the doors open on the day of a show?
Doors open to all shows at 6:30PM CST, unless specified otherwise on the Fox website or under the info provided on the Eventbrite link and/or receipt for you ticket (this may have been emailed to you). Its tough to know how the show will go so the best bet is to come early and enjoy the openers so you don't miss out on any of the headliners.
**Calling the Fox on a concert day is a longshot for getting any answers. We are very busy on concert days but awesomely the Fox phone number is also something you can send a text message to. It makes it easier for us to message back when we have time!
Can I get a refund for my ticket if I am no longer able to attend a show?
The Fox operates on a “No Refund” policy for ticket purchases. Once bought, they are yours. If you are trying to buy a ticket to a Fox show online (from someone you don't know) please be VERY cautious, as online ticket scammers are everywhere in the comments of Fox's posts on social media. They will take your money and run.
**The Fox Theatre will only sell tickets through Eventbrite.com
Is outside alcohol allowed at The Fox?
Due to our liquor license, outside alcohol is prohibited from inside The Strand. If any outside alcohol is brought into the building, our staff will be required to confiscate it, but it can be returned at the end of the event. If you have special requests for the bar, we will do our best to have it ordered and ready to serve at your event!
What do I need to bring if my ticket is at Will Call?
If you have tickets at “Will Call”, please bring an I.D.
Does The Fox serve food?
At this time, the Fox does not serve food inside the building. But, there are a plethora of VERY nice places that we recommend in Downtown Hays, all just a short walk from the Fox. The Fox recommends supporting local businesses and restaurants!
Does the Fox have Security?
The Fox does have security, they are nice.. but also very strong.. please refrain from starting fights inside the building. Fighting could potentially lead to a suspension from future Fox concerts without a refund on tickets already bought. Please do NOT throw things at each other, on stage, or around the sound booth. This could also lead to suspension from Fox shows without a refund.

What parking is available?
We are located downtown and utilize street parking for our events. During the weekends parking has not been an issue.
